Volunteering is a priceless way to give back

Bellarine Community Health’s Volunteers play an integral role in the continued support provided across the Bellarine. They work across all areas of the organisation from strategic governance through to daily interaction with people who use our services.

Many of Bellarine Community Health’s programs and work areas are supported by our dedicated army of volunteers.  We simply would not be able to deliver our continued range of services and activities.

We are forever grateful to the personal care and enthusiasm shown, and the genuine and trusting relationships they build with the members on behalf of our organisation.

There are a range of roles available depending on your interests and the time you can commit and may suit anyone from students or full-time working professionals to retirees. These activities may include but are not limited to;

  • Driving vehicles for community outings and Meals on Wheels Delivery
  • Assisting in planned activity groups
  • Supporting community events and research activities
  • Helping office staff with clerical duties, event organisation or publications

Our Volunteers are supported with training, supervision and skill development. All Volunteers will need to successfully complete a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check, the cost of which is supported by Bellarine Community Health.
