Community Participation

At Bellarine Community Health, we want to ensure that clients, families, carers, members and community voices are heard and listened to because we see better health results when people are supported to participate in decisions about their care or treatment.

We also believe that we get a better health service when the community are invited to tell us what works and what doesn’t, where there are gaps in the service and where there are opportunities to do things better.

Community participation enables us to:

  • better plan, design and deliver services that meet user needs
  • gather feedback about service delivery
  • monitor the quality of our services.

There are many ways you can get involved such as participating in the community engagement projects and activities, becoming a member of our Community Advisory Group or volunteering.

Your voice is important to us and we would love to hear from you. Contact the team at healthycommunities@bch.org.au
