Bellarine Community Health (BCH) is pleased to advise we have re-opened some face to face services following the easing of Commonwealth and State restrictions.
All BCH clients are now asked to wear a mask to appointments. Acceptable masks include disposable, washable or reusable masks. Clients with a medical reason not to wear a mask are recommend to provide a medical certificate. Children under 12 are also exempt, however carers or parents attending an appointment with a child are required to wear a mask. Thank you for helping keep our community safe.
Unfortunately, due to the Stage 3 Covid-19 restrictions coming into effect across regional Victoria from Thursday 6 August, we have to delay the reopening of the gym at our Point Lonsdale site. We appreciate your understanding at this difficult time. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0407 364 800 for further information.
The COVID-19 shutdown and ongoing restrictions have resulted in significant wait times for some of our services. All Podiatry appointments in particular are being prioritised based on clinical urgency.
Clients on the wait list will be contacted by BCH for an appointment but we are asking for your patience and understanding as we work through the backlog. If you have Private Health Insurance, an MBS plan, or wish to pay full fee, you can still ring our team on 1800 007 224 for an appointment, however wait times may apply.
If you have any urgent need for service during this period or have any further questions, please contact the team on 1800 007 224.
For more information, visit our COVID-19 dedicated page.
If you are feeling unwell, have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or have returned from overseas in the past 14 days please phone us on 1800 007 224 and advise a member of our team. Feeling unwell may include, but not limited to: fever of chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, headache, muscle pain, runny nose, loss of smell, nausea.
